We ordered 6 dishes from their Taiwanese menu and not one dish was disappointing. How often can you actually say that? It is hands down the best Taiwanese food you'll get in the DMV (I've frequented all the highly Yelped Taiwanese spots in MD too). I am Chinese and grew up eating the best in the DMV.
We live near East Falls Church. I happened to be visiting a friend that moved to Clifton and this was 3 miles from their house. Manassas is flippin' far from where I live but this place would be worth returning to.
Our family of 6 ordered:
1) Braised beef noodle soup
2) Taiwanese fried chicken (if you like the one at The Block in Annandale, this one is even better)
3) Pork chop and rice
4) Shrimp pancake (this had a weird mucusy texture but my 8 year old loved it). It's like a gelatinous pancake topped with a sweet tomato sauce.
5) Taiwan Special Rice Noodle
6) Minced Pork String Bean w. Dry Black Bean (it comes with 6 squishy buns that you stuff with the minced meat).
I can't wait to try their dry bean curd and shredded pork dish, basil chicken/squid. I have full confidence in this chef.
This is owned by a Taiwanese couple. The lady owner came over to chat with me when she learned that I could speak Chinese. She is SO sweet and friendly. Her husband is a foodie and the chef behind these incredible dishes. His own passion for eating well-made Taiwanese food is what inspired him to pick up the wok. He has worked at well-Yelped restaurants in Maryland and just started his own business 3 years ago with his wife and son by his side.
My opinion: I did not try anything on their "Chinese" menu (General Tso's, Kung Po). It's probably good. Try it. But don't leave without trying a few Taiwanese dishes. Sticking to the General Tso's and ignoring the Taiwanese dishes is like going to Italy and insisting that they make you a cheeseburger and never trying the pasta.
The ambience is typical of an authentic Chinese restaurant. Null. It's located next to a Subway and a few other dark looking shops. The inside has sufficient seating. The owner's son took our order from a paper menu (that had some decent pictures to help you get a visual of some of the dishes).
Bottom line: If you want ambience go to PF Chang's. If you want some damn good Taiwanese cuisine take a trek out to Manassas for this gem. -

Amazing place for their Taiwanese style pork chop. It comes with a generous portion of rice topped with some minced pork, perfectly cooked/steamed cabbage and broccoli that has this brown sauce on it. The pork chop is delicately fried to perfection, well balanced flavors, not oily. The seasoning on the meat is not over powering. The juiciness of the meat is indescribable. You must check this place out.
Had ordered their combination lomein was smoky and they didnt skimp on the meat either. Best lomein takeout we've ever had. -

Have gone a handful of times and their Taiwanese popcorn chicken and shrimp&pork dumplings are delicious.
You have a wait a bit for, but you can tell the shrimp&pork dumplings are made to order. -
